2014 Adventures  Tuesday, December 23, 2014

A selection of images in squares from my 2014 adventures. For more timely updates, it's instagram.com/chasingrv.

This year, 2014, was nothing more than marvelous! I have walked the colorful street of Angono, and met this talented artist slash restaurant owner who convinced me to do more on my craft. Roamed around my little town, Baao, once more in a different light and did some random photoshoot of my sister. Explored Baguio's most haunted places like Diplomat Hotel, Laperal and Teacher's Village. I met a man in Bontoc who let me fire his improvised gun, we also slept overnight in an abandoned white house in the woods. Almost surf the waves of Bagasbas Beach in Daet but we ran out of time. Made lots of wrong turns on the way home from Nasugbu, it was scary and at the same time very much fun! Spent the whole rainy afternoon taking lots of photos and watching my siblings enjoy the splash of waters in CWC in Pili as my way of treating them like royals because I claim as the best big sister in the world. Walked in the rain just to see the wonders of the old gravity dam in Rodriguez. Slipped hundred times just to get inside the majestic Sumaging Cave in Sagada. I had the happiest days in Calaguas Islands in Vinzons with my old closest homeboys. Went on an unplanned road trip to Tagaytay with my dearest cousins, we also did a lot of fangirling on our friend's go-pro camera. Finally met two of my dearest online friends, Eva and Cherryl in one of my favorite places on earth, Pinto Art Museum in Antipolo. I had a quite-near death experience in one of the islands in Zambales, but I got saved by the fisherman who gladly allowed us help him fish.

I feel so incredibly blessed for all of my adventures in 2014. I can't even believe it, that I was able to keep a great record of all the beautiful things that happened to me this year.

This 2015, I wish to rediscover new strength and garner faith with every people I will meet along the way. I hope to be able to rejoice in the simple pleasures that life has to offer. I wish to see the beauty in moments, people, things and places where other people see nothing. Cheers to new adventures in the coming years!

Merry Christmas to everyone and advance Happy New Year! :)
