Workcation at Kamayan sa Palaisdaan Hotel and Resort, Tayabas, Quezon  Sunday, April 30, 2017

Ever since I decided to leave the corporate world and start my own career as a freelance photographer, content creator and social media person I was blessed with projects that apart from it challenges me are projects that allow me to grow and meet new people. For a week, I've worked with my fellow media studies students from Ateneo De Naga University. We were to create social media visual materials for this resort in Tayabas, Quezon called Kamayan sa Palaisdaan like lifestyle photos, food photos and videos for their summer campaign.

They collectively called themselves, Anoneo Entertainment. They are a group of students of Ateneo De Naga and aspiring film makers and actors with a sole purpose of entertaining all kinds of audience. They create comic content on their Facebook page and to produce videos is their way of practicing their skills.

The owner of the resort, Tita Vangie wanted this project to be experiential so she made sure we get to try all the amenities and services of Kamayan sa Palaisdaan Resort as we do the project. Apart from being a resort itself, inside of its premises are Air Summit Gourmet, an "in-flight" fine dining restaurant, Summit Blend Cafe, and Kamayan sa Palaisdaan Restaurant.

Who would have thought of recycling an airplane into a gourmet restaurant, right?

Coming to this resort is like coming home to our grandparent's home on a Sunday. Our days of work and vacation at Kamayan sa Palaisdaan Resort felt like it was Sunday everyday. So much food to eat, different surprises inside the resort and welcoming owners and staff. I'm glad I got to work with fellow media studies students too who are incredibly talented and so much passion. It always just feels great to be in a project where young and vibrant creatives are involved. Those days doesn't feel like work at all.
